TeleCommunication Systems Inc and Cellcrypt are partnering to develop secure mobile communication solutions for the public and private sector.
Under the partnership, the companies will provide government-certified voice call and messaging encryption technology.
The companies will use TCS’ Secure the Edge Portfolio with Cellcrypt’s encryption technology to offer cloud-based solutions.
TCS Commercial Software Group vice president of business development Keith Bhatia said the partnership addresses the fact that BYOD “is now a top IT challenge for commercial and government enterprises using unsecured wireless networks.”
KPMG LLP will acquire Hackett Group’s Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning practice for an undisclosed amount, the company announced Wednesday.
The transaction, which is expected to close soon, expands KPMG’s existing ERP capabilities while enhancing the firm’s Oracle consulting services.
In addition, the Oracle acquisition is directed toward KPMG clients’ technology enablement and enterprise transformation needs.
According to Stephen Lis, KPMG’s U.S. leader for Management Consulting, “These professionals come from an organization with a strong Oracle implementation reputation and will immediately expand our value proposition. In addition, KPMG will become The Hackett Group’s preferred provider for Oracle ERP implementation services.”
Stephen Chase, KPMG’s service line leader for Technology also said that “the transaction complements KPMG’s investments in our fast-growing business transformation capabilities, further building on our October 2011 acquisition of Optimum Solutions, an Oracle Platinum Partner.”
