Brian Seagrave, a former Raytheon vice president, has joined Reston, Va.-based information technology services provider Govplace Inc. as VP and general manager for its services and solutions business unit.
Seagrave will report to CEO Adam Robinson in his role as leader of Govplace’s growth strategy in products and services for the U.S. public sector, Govplace said Thursday.
Robinson said Seagrave helped several government agencies acquire offerings for border and maritime security, immigration, anti-terrorism, urban security and infrastructure protection in the U.S and several other nations.
Before joining GovPlace, Seagrave served as VP of homeland security at Raytheon as part of his five-year stint there.
The 27-year industry veteran has also served as GM for border security and infrastructure protection at Unisys‘ federal systems business.
Seagrave holds business development, program management, product development and capture experience from companies that offer business systems, mission systems, technical services, and information technology services to government agencies.
