A Capgemini Group business unit has won a $43.7 million contract to develop and manage core applications for Norway’s national postal service as part of the agency’s modernization drive.
Capgemini Norge AS will modify its Rightshore global delivery model as it aims to suit the technical and costing needs of Norway Post, the company said Monday.
The company will outsource enterprise resource planning, data warehousing and other applications and also introduce new work processes to the agency.
“This is a significant and innovative contract for Capgemini here in Norway and Capgemini as a group,” says Ola Furu, CEO at Capgemini Norge AS.
“We are both humble and proud that Norway Post, with whom we’ve build a longstanding relationship, has entrusted us with this important delivery project,” he added.
Capgemini maintains Rightshore delivery centers in Sweden, Norway and India.
