Derick Masengale serves as co-lead of Deloitte‘s federal enterprise data management practice, where he develops strategies, staff and offerings that support data sharing and analytics.
He also serves as a director in the firm’s information management consulting practice and was recently appointed to lead its big data offering.
Masengale led development of an EDM framework and data discovery tools to support development and deployment of data warehouse, master data management, metadata management and data analytic systems.
His teams have also developed and carried out data management strategies for the Federal Housing Authority, Ginnie Mae, Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration, Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the Farm Services Agencies.
According to Deloitte, the teams helped migrate and convert legacy data into enterprise resource planning systems as well as design and deploy data warehouse systems for analytics and data analysis.
The 20-year industry veteran has held both technical and management consulting leadership roles during his career.
Over the past 14 years, Masengale has developed and managed implementation of enterprise business intelligence, information management, and customer resource management systems for both government and commercial organizations.
Masengale holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of South Florida.
