Jamie Wylly is the senior director of Microsoft’s worldwide business across the U.S. Department of the Army where he is responsible for product sales, strategy, and oversight of services and sales into the Army and all overseas Defense Department commands.
Wylly joined Microsoft in 2004, initially as a business productivity specialist on the federal advanced solutions team where he supported the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps with business and mission enterprise solutions.
Shortly thereafter, Wylly was promoted to manager of Microsoft’s worldwide Navy and Marine Corps business where he led Microsoft’s partnership with the maritime services in preparing for Naval Network Environment.
In 2010, he stood up a new business group to manage overseas DoD accounts.
Prior to joining Microsoft in 2004, Wylly had a career in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Tomcat pilot flying from several aircraft carriers, including combat missions in DESERT STORM. He served most of his naval career in the U.S. Pacific Fleet and among other distinctions, was a TOPGUN student and air combat instructor.
Wylly also served as special operations exercise director and as assistant executive officer to commander, U.S. Central Command.
He holds two Masters Degrees; a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Wylly earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Citadel in Charleston, SC.
