Mike Loose serves as senior vice president and the manager of the installations and environmental division of the Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group.
Loose is responsible for the full life-cycle of natural and built environments and overseeing Parsons’ work with federal government clients, including the Defense Department and military services, the General Services Administration, and other agencies at the cabinet level and below.
He recently retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Vice Admiral and led organizations up to 17,000 employees and an annual budget up to $32 billion.
Prior to joining Parsons, the more than 30-year Navy veteran served as the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Fleet Readiness and Logistics, responsible for the policy, programming and resourcing of the Navy’s energy, environmental and logistics programs and the maintenance and operations of its ships, submarines, aircraft and shore infrastructure.
Previously, Mike was the architect of the global transformation of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and led the reshaping of its global planning, engineering, acquisition, environmental, public works and delivery systems.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. He is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in the state of California.
