George Centeno, an Indus Corp. employee, has won the Defense Information Systems Agency‘s “2012 Contractor of the Year award” for his work on a technical support services contract with the agency.
He worked more than 60 hours non-stop to load an operating system, install software and configure hardware for the Defense Department’s global applications, Indus said Friday.
This is the second consecutive year that Centeno has won the award.
“The Indus, our prime contractor, and the customer have always spoken about the great things George has accomplished,” said Ted Milone, director of Indus’ defense information systems division.
Ceteno has worked on the Integrated Information Management Systems contract since 2010 and served in the Air Force for 9 years before joining Indus.
