ICF International Wins $48M to Support Transmission Line Construction; Ted Lee Comments

ICFlogoICF International has won a $48 million three-year, recompete contract to help build a 500kV electrical transmission line for a major U.S. utility.

According to a company statement, it will conduct biological surveys and provide on-site monitoring to help ensure compliance with environmental requirements during the construction period.

“This work has contributed to the client’s ability to construct one of the nation’s largest transmission lines under the most rigorous environmental requirements,” said Ted Lee, vice president for ICF International.

For the past three years, ICF has provided similar services to the major U.S. utility.
