Bruce DeWitt, a former division vice president and general manager at ATK, has joined modular technology firm Logic PD as CEO, effective Monday.
DeWitt will be responsible for integrating Logic PD’s micro dynamics and logic product development and succeeds Michael Davis, Logic PD said Monday.
He previously led ATK’s armament systems division and oversaw a staff of nearly 600 people, including 300 engineers.
DeWitt started at the company in 2007 as deputy general manager of the advanced weapons division and then was promoted to group VP for the mission systems group the following year.
John Flanigan, chairman of Logic PD’s board of directors, said DeWitt brings experience in commercializing technologies, growing businesses and navigating regulated markets.
Prior to ATK, DeWitt served as VP of Raytheon’s precision engagement business area.
Before joining the private sector, he served as an Air Force officer, retiring with the rank of colonel in 2003 and working as a flight instructor as well as an experimental test pilot.
