Denis Ranque, former chief executive of Thales Group, has been formally elected as chairman of the EADS board of directors and Tom Enders was re-appointed CEO of the aerospace and defense conglomerate.
The board also appointed new members to the company’s audit and remuneration committees four months after the group announced a restructuring of its ownership setup, EADS said Tuesday.
Sir John Parker will continue serving as committee head of remuneration and nomination with Jean-Claude Trichet, Lakshmi Mittal and Hans-Peter Keitel as members.
Hermann-Josef Lamberti keep his title as audit committee chairman with Anne Lauvergeon, Michel Pebereau and Josep Pique i Camps as members of that panel.
EADS’ directors also voted to adopt an 18-month, $4.8 trillion initiative to repurchase 15 percent of its stock at $64 per share.
