Dave Amoriell serves as chief operating officer of Xerox’s transportation, central and local government segment, where he enables government agencies in more than 30 countries to address business process outsourcing and information technology solution.
Amoriell joined ACS after a career with IBM and Lockheed Martin as a senior executive.
Immediately before joining ACS, he served as general manager for IBM where he helped grow the company’s federal sector portfolio which included DHS elements in the state & local marketplace.
As general manager, his business responsibility grew from $630 million to more than $1.1 billion in revenue two years later.
Key programs included business transformation programs for the DHS to systems integration programs within the Defense Department, to business and IT outsourcing programs at the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services, to business consulting and software integration programs at the Internal Revenue Service.
Dave also served as vice president responsible for the federal homeland security, environment, transportation and intelligence programs within the IBM global services public sector. In addition, he had overall responsibility for the U.S. Customs modernization program within DHS to ensure the successful implementation of this $3+ billion program.
Dave received his BS in Computer Science & Math from the State University of New York.
