He will report to Thomas Hogan, executive VP and GM for global business services and regions, and be responsible for driving and coordinating company operations in the region as a regional managing director, CSC said Monday.
Majed also held positions at Gulf Business Machines, Siebel Systems and webMethods.
“Asia, the Middle East and Africa represent an enormous opportunity for growth,” Hogan said.

Majed said he will aim to grow the company’s presence in the cloud computing, cybersecurity and big data markets.Mike Lawrie, CSC chairman and CEO, served as chief executive for Misys before joining CSC and is also a 27-year IBM veteran.
