Cisco Grants 1st Certification Under 3rd-Party Developer Program

Cisco-LogoCisco has granted ActionPacked Networks a application visibility and control compatibility certification through a developer network Cisco started to certify third-party software vendors, Network World reported Thursday.

Zeus Kerravala writes ActionPacked was the first company to complete the interoperability verification testing program created by Cisco earlier this year

Cisco’s program tests the response time of applications based on Netflow, tracks voice and video media and identifies NBAR2 applications.

Kerravala writes ActionPacked applied these protocols to its LiveAction software to help customers identify and fix problems.

ActionPacked! is a member of the Cisco Developer Network, which intends to build business applications such as video, Jabber and Voice over Internet Protocol integration.

The partnership aims to build on several components for third parties such as NBAR, PfR and Netflow.
