Fixmo Platform Supports DISA-Approved Mobile Devices; Bruce Gilley Comments

fixmo_logoFixmo has developed a portfolio of mobility offerings designed to help government organizations address the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency‘s security guidelines for mobile devices and enterprise applications.

The enterprise mobility platform seeks to address requirements specified in mobile security technical implementation guides (STIG), Fixmo said Tuesday.

“The DoD is under increasing pressure to allow employees to choose from a range of mobile devices and they are also seeing tremendous opportunity to leverage the iOS and Android platforms to take mobility beyond email,” said Bruce Gilley, Fixmo President.

DISA recently approved STIGs for BlackBerry, Samsung, Knox and Apple iOS 6 devices, allowing the products’ deployment at agencies within the Defense Department.

Fixmo has a deal with the U.S. Air Force to supply technologies for securing communications and accessing mission-critical applications on various mobile devices.
