KBR to Design Road Rail Separator for $145M Project; Colin Elliott Comments

kbr logoKBR has won a contract to help design a road rail separation project for a $145 million public transportation project covering approximately 1.1 miles of track.

The company will be responsible for the preliminary design, detailed engineering design and for providing technical advice to alliance partner John Holland during construction, KBR said Monday.

Project work will also include a new premium station at the Mitcham Road and Rooks Road crossings located in Victoria, Australia.

“KBR is pleased to contribute our design expertise to this important project,” said Colin Elliott, president of KBR’s infrastructure business.

VicRoads selected KBR to join the project alliance that already includes Metro Trains Melbourne and Public Transport Victoria.
