In his new role, Greenquist will be responsible for overseeing finance, treasury, performance controlling, audit and compliance, procurement and information technology operations, according to a company statement.
He previously held the same position within Telcordia and served in senior financial roles at companies such as Symbol Technologies, Agere Systems and General Motors Europe.
Akhavan said Greenquist brings experience in managing financial operations of technology companies to the SEN group.
Greenquist replaces interim CFO Ray Leclercq, who continues to lead internal transformation programs at Siemens Enterprise Communications.
He will be based in the group’s headquarters in Reston, Va.
