The seventh annual Technology in Government Summit will be held on July 24 and 25 in Canberra, Australia.
This year’s event is expected to highlight mobility, big data, cloud and other technologies relevant to the work of industry and government chief information officers, according to a cfo world statement.
Glenn Archer, CIO of Australia’s federal government, will give the keynote address at the event to outline the country’s strategy to use information and communications technology for improving efficiency and engaging with the public.
Sessions will discuss how government agencies can utilize new platforms to improve service delivery and to address cyber vulnerabilities.
There is also a seminar for information technology businesses who are seeking clients from the public sector as well as an exhibition for approximately 50 exhibitors.
