Michael Papay, chief information security officer and vice president of cyber initiatives at Northrop Grumman, will deliver the opening keynote address at an upcoming two-day cybersecurity event in New York.
The 16th Annual New York State Cyber Security Conference and 8th Annual Symposium on Information Assurance will take place June 4 and 5 at the Empire State Plaza, Northrop said Wednesday.
Papay will share the aerospace and defense industry’s perspective on internal information security efforts and tailored cyber strategies in his keynote.
He will also cover business models intended to help organizations deploy secure mobile and cloud technologies.
Bill Russell, Northrop cybersecurity strategist and chief architect will lead breakout discussions focused on information-driven cybersecurity.
The New York State Office of Information Technology is co-hosting the event with The NYS Forum Inc. and the University at Albany’s School of Business and College of Computing and Information.
