Parsons JV Wins Dulles Metro Extension Design Project; Todd Wager Comments

ParsonsA joint venture that includes Parsons Corp. has been selected to carry out a design-build package for a $1.2 billion project to extend the Metrorail system from Fairfax County through Dulles International Airport and into eastern Loudoun County.

Capital Rail Constructors won the A-package for phase two of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, Parsons said Monday.

Parsons will be responsible for designing and building the rail lines, stations and systems for the section.

“Parsons is honored to have been chosen to participate in this significant project,” said Todd Wager, a Parsons group president.

According to the company, this project is the largest of three design-build packages that encompass phase two.
