QinetiQ NA, NVision Sign Telemetry Tech License Agreement

qinetiqQinetiQ North America has signed a licensing agreement with geospatial technology firm NVision Solutions, where NVision will provide QNA’s telemetry components to customers, the Mississippi Business Journal reported Tuesday.

The publication reports NVision has the right to further build and permit customers to use QNA’s SAKI technology, a modular electronic circuit cards for obtaining sonar data.

NVision has hired six engineers and technicians with underwater sensors and acoustic telemetry skills to support the expansion.

According to the report, NVision first sought to expand its offerings in 2004 when it had engineered weather stations, tracking devices and large multi-touch surface computers.

NVision recently won a contract with the Naval Air Systems Command to develop and test hand-held radar simulators, the Business Journal reports.
