SAS will hold its annual government leadership summit in Washington on Tuesday to discuss how agencies can use analytics and big data to support their missions and goals.
More than 200 representatives from the federal government and systems integration industry will examine potential outcomes of integrating big data, analytics and new technologies at the SAS Government Leadership Summit, SAS said Monday.
Attendees from the government, academia and industry sector will examine how healthcare, fraud prevention and national security analytics can help figure the pattern of government data and to use this information to make decisions.
Nate Silver, founder of FiveThirtyEight.com and author of “The Signal and the Noise, and Juan Zarate, a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a former deputy national security adviser for combating terrorism will speak at the summit.
The summit will also include sessions covering health, security intelligence, as well as text, social media and big data analytics.
A technology exhibit will give participants insights into social media analytics, risk and health analytics, data visualization and insurance risk.
