The unit will provide analytics services and products to healthcare providers, researchers and medical manufacturers, Deloitte said Monday.
Davis will be responsible for expanding the business’ portfolio and network of collaborators, as well as helping clients use data to manage care.
““Life sciences and health care are strategic markets for us and Brett’s leadership will impact our ability to guide our clients on their journey to unlocking the power of data to transform health care,” said Andrew Vaz, Deloitte chief innovation officer.
While at Oracle, Davis led business development for the company’s health sciences global business unit and helped to launch its health care analytics and translational research solution areas.
He has also served in leadership roles for IBM’s health care and life sciences business, having most recently served as a business unit executive for the public and health care sectors there.
