Cisco introduced a networking architecture that aims to help data centers deliver secure business applications in a cloud environment at Cisco Live this week in Orlando, Fla.
The application-centric infrastructure was created through Cisco’s majority-owned unit Insieme Networks and works to assist end-users with big data management and cloud migration, Cisco said Wednesday.
At the event, Cisco also announced new offerings in its unified fabric suite of data center switching technology for improving networking management and agility.
Dynamic fabric automation works to automate network provisioning and optimize fabric for physical and virtual servers, Cisco said.
Additionally, the Nexus 7700 Series switches and F3 Series input/output modules are designed with a capacity of between 40 and 100 gigabits.
