Dell has released a new software designed to help developers and database administrators connect with peers and subject matter experts through the Toad World user community.
Toad for Oracle works to help database professionals gain access to an intelligence platform and address coding errors and other database problems, Dell said Thursday.
Darin Bartik, product management executive director at Dell’s information management group, said Dell aims for the Toad and Toad World upgrades to help deploy business applications and processes.
“With the new Toad and Toad World releases, Dell connects its users to knowledge and to other users on their team and around the world,” Bartik added.
The new Toad for Oracle includes forum windows for community discussions, search capability for solving problems, multiple schema comparison, a private repository for script sharing and feedback, Toad World repository and MyToad for executing a script from a remote device.
The fresh Toad World also connects users to join in forums and to tools and resources.
Dell also intends for users to contribute ontent and download free product betas, freeware, wikis and video content.
