Dell has won several awards for its application monitoring, network management and data protection software products under Network Products Guide’s annual Hot Companies and Best Products Awards program.
The publication recognized Dell’s Foglight and Quest One Identity Manager data security platforms and the company’s case study of how travel firm Thomas Cook uses Foglight to resolve performance issues, Dell said Thursday.
Three Dell products, including its MessageStats data mining technology, have been selected as Stevie Award finalists in this year’s American Business Awards.
Tom Kendra, vice president and general manager of systems management at Dell Software, said the company aims to help organizations of all sizes manage and protect their applications, systems, devices and data.
The company’s AppAssure midrange backup and recovery software won the top prize in Storage Magazine’s Quality Awards competition.
Additionally, the SuperMassive firewall platform has received the “recommend” rating from NSS Labs and won the Silver Award in the enterprise hardware category from Tech Awards Circle.
