Allan Cameron, president and CEO of Thales USA between 2006 and 2012, has been appointed executive chairman of the board of directors at range and training technology provider Defense Logistics Support.
Cameron has also been named a partner at DLSI, which also provides emergency humanitarian relief systems and commercial applications to customers, DLSI said Tuesday.
Trevor Kracker, DLSI president and CEO, said the company appointed Cameron for his aerospace and defense industry experience as the company aims to grow its market presence.
At Thales, Cameron led company acquisitions intended to grow the company’s security portfolio and oversaw other transformation programs.
He joined Thales in 2005 as head of its U.K. naval division and has also served as president of General Dynamics‘ Bath Iron Works subsidiary.
