Parsons to Help Build Bridge with Bike Lanes, Sidewalks; Todd Wager Comments

ParsonsParsons will help the state of Florida build a new two-lane bridge that includes bike lanes, sidewalks and pedestrian curbs intended to help ensure safety and keep traffic moving.

The Florida Department of Transportation plans to demolish the current State Route 109 bridge, located over the Arlington River, and put up a modular structure as a temporary replacement until the new bridge is built, Parsons said Thursday.

“This win continues our expansion into the construction management market, and Parsons is proud to be a part of this significant project,” said Todd Wager, a Parsons group president.

Parsons will provide engineering services and inspection works to the state for the project.
