Turner Construction has asked its local offices to contribute projects for the company’s Green Zone program, which seeks to promote environmental aims such as recycling and water efficiency.
The company has 31 local offices that submitted at least one project and 91 out of 2010 sites are certified Turner Green Zone offices, Turner said June 18.
New York, Chicago, Cincinnati and Connecticut are the offices that submitted the most Green Zone projects to Turner for 2013.
Cincinnati topped the list of a Turner office with the most green project scorecards, followed by New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Kansas City.
A project in Iselin, N.J. was selected as the top-scoring project with 36 credits and the other top five projects are in San Jose, Calif.; Saint Joseph, Ohio; Stamford, Conn.; and Charlotte, N.C.
