WBB to Provide CBP Support Services

wbb logoWBB has won a contract to help an Customs and Border Protection agency manage projects and programs that aim to implement enterprise-level tactical wireless communications and architecture.

The joint wireless program management office within CBP’s wireless program office is responsible for helping the Department of Homeland Security coordinate and manage its tactical communications domain, WBB said Monday. CBP Wireless Systems Program Office with project and management support services intended to enhance the Department of Homeland Security’s wireless communication and infrastructure.

WBB will help CBP WSPO manage its programs, human resources, logistics requirements, finance and acquisitions starting July 1, the company said Monday.

The One DHS Emergency Communications Committee mandated the integrated tactical communications and investments strategy and JWPMO will serve as an acquisition entity to support it, according to WBB.

CBP WSPO also helps the DHS deploy voice, data, video and mobile broadband technologies to its personnel.
