The joint wireless program management office within CBP’s wireless program office is responsible for helping the Department of Homeland Security coordinate and manage its tactical communications domain, WBB said Monday. The One DHS Emergency Communications Committee mandated the integrated tactical communications and investments strategy and JWPMO will serve as an acquisition entity to support it, according to WBB.
CBP WSPO also helps the DHS deploy voice, data, video and mobile broadband technologies to its personnel.
