CACI to Unify Youth Justice Agency Software; Paul Richards Comments

CACI logo_EbizCACI International has won a $2.3 million contract from the British Justice Ministry to consolidate the Youth Justice Board’s interventions framework and case management software, 24dash reported Thursday.

Hayley Enright writes CACI will deliver the board’s AssetPlus through the company’s ChildView Youth Justice module, which works to help users view an individual’s records and life events.

The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales built the framework for youth justice services with the goal of developing intervention plans and reducing youth offense cases, according to 24dash.

Paul Richards, director of children and young peoples services at CACI, told 24dash the ChildView Youth Justice software will aim to help identify risks and fulfill the demands of youth.

The system works to determine factors contributing to a young person’s offending behavior and inform courts about these factors for relevant mediation programs, according to the report.

Enright reports the framework seeks to centralize information between Youth Offending Teams across the country when a young person is put under custody of concerned institutions.
