cisco_executivebizCisco and NetApp have provided a healthcare analytics platform to a U.K. National Health Service organization as NHS seeks to deliver information technology support services to clinicians, ComputerWorld UK reported Monday.

Matthew Finnegan writes NHS’ North and East London Commissioning Support Unit will use the Flexpod architecture to provide IT support to 13 clinician customers.

Finnegan reports Flexpod will replace the Fujitsu server chassis with two unified computing system blade chassis, which includes Nexus switches and 24 Terabytes of NetApp storage hosted on a VMware hypervisor.

Clinicians gain access to NELCSU’s intelligence and informatics system through a structured query language data platform that works to provide users data for decision-making, according to ComputerWorld UK.
