Dynetics Supports ACS on Cancer Prevention Study; Marc Bendickson Comments

dyneticsDynetics has pledged to support a new American Cancer Society (ACS) study on the environmental, genetic and behavioral factors that lead to or prevent cancer.

The Dynetics Solutions Complex on 1004 Explorer Blvd. at the Cummings Research Park will serve as one of five host sites where volunteers can sign up to participate in the ACS Epidemiology Research Program’s Cancer Prevention Study-3, the company said Saturday.

Enrollment is scheduled for July 18 from 12 noon to 3:30 pm.

“Dynetics has made CPS-3 a priority and has asked our employees to enroll and do their part to beat cancer and advance the American Cancer Society’s mission of supporting our community,” Dynetics CEO Dr. Marc Bendickson said.

“We are proud to be supporting this important study and encourage the community to get involved.”

The ACS aims to enroll at least 188,000 men and woman from various ethnic backgrounds who are between 30 and 65 years old and never been diagnosed with cancer.

The Huntsville Hospital Medical Mall Wellness Center, Willowbrook Baptist Church, Hogan Family YMCA and the Fellowship of Faith Church are the other local host sites.
