Jim Rittinger serves as legal director, vice president and secretary at Dell Federal.
He joined the firm, which was then Perot Systems, in November 2008 as the associate general counsel for the company’s federal government business unit.
Prior to joining Perot Systems, Rittinger practiced law in New York and Washington D.C., including the New York City office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges LLP, where his practice focused on trade secret, employment, securities and general commercial litigation, as well as government contract and procurement law.
In this role, Rittinger conducted trials and made oral arguments before numerous state and federal courts.
Rittinger also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, former chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Honorable Mary Ellen Coster Williams of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
He received his JD degree from Fordham University School of Law and bachelor of arts in history from Boston College.
Rittinger is a member of the bars of New York State and the District of Columbia, and is licensed to practice as a registered corporate counsel in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
