Mobile security and risk management company Fixmo has joined a McAfee program that aims to offer customers products that work to facilitate management activities of service providers and information technology specialists.
The two companies intend to consolidate their mobility and security platforms that aim to protect confidential information as part of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance initiative,, Fixmo said Monday.
Fixmo will combine its Enterprise Mobility Platform with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator with a goal of providing businesses a tool that can collect, store and shield data from potential threats.
“We are pleased to add Fixmo’s Enterprise Mobility Platform to the SIA program,” said Ed Barry, vice president of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance.
Barry added the alliance aims to help customers use mobile technology to securely access sensitive information.
“We are incredibly pleased to be joining the SIA program and collaborating with McAfee,” said Derek Peper, business development vice president of business development at Fixmo.
