Rick Volk, a 30-year industry veteran, has joined CH2M Hill as director for alternative project delivery in North America within the company’s transportation business group.
He will be responsible for design and construction projects, client advisory services and public-private partnerships in his new role, CH2M Hill said Monday.
Terry Ruhl, transportation president at CH2M Hill, said Volk brings experience in project development and procurement to the company.
Volk most recently served as chief operating officer and executive vice president of business development at United Infrastructure Group.
Before that, Volk held executive positions at VP3, SemMaterials, New Century Transportation and Koch Performance Roads.
He holds a juris doctor degree from Widener University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
