Scott Armstrong, a two-decade information technology industry veteran, has joined INADEV as chief strategy officer and oversee the mobile provider’s product funding, pricing and marketing activities.
Armstrong will also lead the firm in the areas of partnerships, acquisitions and new businesses, INADEV said Tuesday.
Ferhan Hamid, INADEV chief executive, said Armstrong will work to steer the company’s mobile products into market.
INADEV’s product portfolio is Tapose, a collaborative content creation application for Apple iOS-based devices..
Armstrong, a Cornell University alum, most recently worked at Symantec as strategic initiatives and programs lead and spearheaded public sector mobility, cybersecurity and cloud computing projects.
He also served in executive roles at Gideon Technologies, Secure Elements, Mercator Software, Aether Systems and UUNET.
