Autonomic Resources Expands Cloud Service Channels

Cloud Computing, ExecutiveBizAutonomic Resources has extended its cloud channel networks with the goal of helping service partners and resellers meet the government’s cloud computing requirements.

The ARC-P cloud ecosystem aims to help service integrators build and test cloud-based government applications, while the Powered By ARC-P reseller program seeks to help partners resell Autonomic’s kernel-based virtual machine platforms, Autonomic said Thursday.

Each program works to help partners generate service revenue using the ARC-P Community and Private and the ARCWRX platform-as-a-service, powered by Red Hat’s OpenShift.

Vizuri, a Red Hat and JBoss partner, and former vFabric partner consilium1 are the first two companies that have adopted the ARC-P cloud ecosystem.

Consilium1 is for government healthcare and power system programs and Vizuri provides services for OpenShift migration assessments, migration projects and operations and maintenance within the ARC-P model.
