Concurrent Technologies Corp. is ranked 54th on business analytics and intelligence firm Centurion Research Solutions‘ list of the top 100 federal research and development contractors during fiscal year 2012.
CTC is one of nearly 6,900 service providers that collectively won $52 billion in R&D contracts during the fiscal year, CTC said Aug. 14.
Ed Sheehan, CTC president and CEO, said the nonprofit organization aims to develop applied scientific R&D activities for technologies that work to help clients achieve business targets and operational growth.
CTC currently leads a U.S. Air Force project to develop a robotic laser coating removal system .
The R&D category is one of seven in Centurion’s lists and recognizes contributions of companies to develop and technologies for the public sector.
Other categories in Centurion’s rankings were architecture and engineering, operations and maintenance, education and training, construction, healthcare and support.
