McAfee Rolls Out Data Center Security Suite; Rishi Bhargava Comments

Mcafee-logoEbizIntel subsidiary McAfee has rolled out an updated security product that seeks to protect enterprise information migrated to public and private clouds.

The new version of McAfee Data Center Security Suite for Server is designed to secure server workloads such as those on Amazon Web Services and VMware‘s vCenter, McAfee said Monday.

“Enterprises must stay compliant and meet government regulations and that is a typical barrier for organizations who want to move workloads into the cloud,” said Rishi Bhargava, vice president of data center security at McAfee.

McAfee intends for protection to encompass both on-premise and cloud-based machines, with an auto-deploy feature for newly-added devices.

The product aims to works ith the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and centralize management of all security features.
