DRS Technical Services Wins Army Logistics Support Contract

DRS- ExecutiveMosaicDRS Technical Services has won a modification contract worth more than $25.5 million to provide logistics and maintenance services to the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.

The Army is obligating $14,119,443 in fiscal year 2013 operations and maintenance and fiscal 2013 procurement funding at the time of award, according to the Defense Department.

DRS will acquire, operate and maintain information technology infrastructure products and tactical equipment.

The new award modifies a time-and-materials, option-filled contract awarded by the Army Contracting Command at Rock Island, Ill.
