Gordon Irons, a veteran of the accounting services sector, has joined Deloitte Private as a lateral partner for the company’s practice in Sydney.
He has assisted global technology firms in areas such as business strategy, operating model reviews, finance and procurement, Deloitte Private said Monday.
Ben Shields, lead advisory partner at Deloitte Private, said Irons brings experience in helping private and mid-market clients improve their businesses by using cloud computing technology.
The company launched a cloud-based offering for organizations to automate bookkeeping, monitor key performance indicators and create benchmark reports.
Deloitte Private Connect works to help users access financial information in real time and allows the firm to connect with clients, according to the release.
“Cloud or single ledger accounting solutions give Deloitte Private clients the ability to access their financial data and reports from anywhere and at any time,” said Ben Shields, Deloitte Private’s lead advisory partner.
