Michael Voce, previously a president at Protection Strategies, will succeed Greg McDowell as general manager of a contract held by a Triple Canopy–Securiguard joint venture starting Oct. 1.
In his new role at National Strategic Protective Services LLC, Voce will manage a protective force services contract to secure three Energy Department facilities in Oak Ridge, Tenn., NSPS said Monday.
Ignacio Balderas, president of NSPS, said Voce brings leadership experience in nuclear security and labor relations to his new position.
At Protection Strategies, Voce oversaw a multi-million-dollar contract of DOE and National Nuclear Security Administration as program manager prior to his appointment as the company’s president.
The U.S. Army veteran spent two decades in active military service and also has worked for NNSA as a emergency management program coordinator, protective force supervisor, trainer and director.
Voce holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and criminal justice, as well as a master’s degree in educational and instructional technology.
