Mark Johnson - Oracle, ExecutiveMosaicOracle has launched a new cloud computing service for U.S. federal agencies that is intended to help agencies comply with the White House’s “Cloud First” policy.

The company will make three software-as-a-service products available through its Oracle Government Cloud suite and also plans to roll out infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service options in the future, Oracle said Wednesday.

Mark Johnson, senior vice president for Oracle’s public sector business, said the standards-based suite seeks to address the public sector’s requirements on transparency, performance, agility and security.
