DigitalGlobe has become a partner of two companies in the Asia-Pacific in a move to expand the availability of its technological and satellite imagery products in the region.
The company’s affiliation with other APAC firms and organizations have helped it obtain major deals in Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand and Thailand, DigitalGlobe said Wednesday.
DigitalGlobe established a new relationship with a company for a geoscience initiative in South Pacific Island and will also work with a government agency on a water management and development project.
DigitalGlobe says it has achieve a 200-percent growth rate in the APAC region within the year and existing partners Geoimage and Sinclair Knight Merz played roles on major deals secured in Australia, New Guinea and New Zealand.
