Iron Bow Technologies and All Points Logistics have formed a team to pursue a potential $5.3 billion Department of Veterans Affairs contract for information technology equipment and services.
The team will compete to provide laptops, mobile tablets, storage systems, networking applications, security platforms software and related support to the VA under the five-year Commodity Enterprise Contract, Iron Bow said Tuesday.
Rene LaVigne, Iron Bow president and CEO, said the company has helped the VA manage its IT infrastructure and clinical applications for more than 20 years.
The alliance aims to combine Iron Bow’s management policies and procurement experience with APL’s enterprise and product delivery knowledge.
Iron Bow says it will also leverage industry partnerships in mobility, communications, telehealth and data center consolidation to support the VA program.
