Julian Sandino, CH2M Hill vice president and technology fellow, has been recognized for his projects related to the global water environment by the Water Environment Federation.
Sandino was named a 2013 Water Environment Federation Fellow at the WEF’s ive-day technical exhibition and conference that started Oct. 5 in Chicago, CH2M Hill announced Monday.
Brock McEwen, CH2M Hill global water technology director, said Sandino has led multi-disciplinary teams for more than 300 sanitation infrastructure and environmental projects worldwide.
The award follows Sandino’s previous recognition from the WEF in 2009, where he received the Engelbrecht International Achievement Award.
Sandino is an active member of the WEF and has also served two terms on the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant Design’s board of trustees.
