Level 3 Communications has rolled out a new platform that works to help clients manage and secure voice networks across their organization.
Voice Complete is based on session initiation protocol standards and includes options for disaster recovery and emergency 911 services that enterprises can access through an online customer portal, Level 3 said Monday.
The platform uses an primary rate interface that is designed to enable communication handoff without requiring equipment upgrades, the company says.
Shaun Andrews, Level 3 senior vice president of voice services, said the company intends for the technology to help businesses address complex operations.
The portfolio is also designed to provide users domestic and long distance voice services, as well as integrated services digital offerings.
Level 3 says Voice Complete also comes with geographically independent phone numbers for the mobile workforce.
