Optum360 will provide revenue cycle management and medical record documentation services to customers by using Optum’s analytics technology with a Dignity Health platform, Optum said Monday.
The services are intended to ICD-10 ready, online and mobile.
“The health care billing process is too often a source of stress during a time when healing should be the primary focus, and together through Optum360 we are committed to being part of the solution,” said Lloyd Dean, president and CEO of Dignity Health.
Optum360 will leverage the two companies’ combined workforce of 3,000 employees to provide the services, with the initial deployment set for all Dignity Health partner hospitals and physicians.
Other Optum360 technologies that are intended to help modernize the revenue cycle include clinically integrated electronic financial records, computerized coding and claims management tools.
