Northrop Grumman is showcasing an unmanned ground vehicle developed to offer multi-functional reinforcements to warfighters during a military exhibition this week Fort Benning in Georgia.
The Carry-all Modular Equipment Landrover is built as a convertible support system, Northrop said Monday.
CaMEL is among the engineering and mechanical systems featured at the three-day Robotics Limited Demonstration, held by the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence.
Phil Coker, Northrop sector director of integrated platform solutions, said the company designed CaMEL’s hybrid engine to operate quietly in the battlefield.
Companies and organizations from various industries introduce new products at the demonstration.
