Software AG has introduced a new cloud-based service intended to help chief information officers manage and schedule information technology assets.
Portfolios Live works to collect information about an organization’s applications for budget, regulatory, legal and technical data in order to generate reports for IT investment evaluations, Software AG said Wednesday.
“Identifying the cost and strategic business support of your IT assets is a fundamental first step on the road to the Digital Enterprise,” said Wolfram Jost, Software AG chief technology officer.
The company intends for the service to help CIOs determine which IT assets to migrate to cloud platforms, as well as to evaluate application costs and risks.
Pre-configured services for Portfolios Live are designed to help meet the workload requirements of customers.
Portfolios Live is part of Software AG’s platform-as-a-service suite and is built to work with existing customer applications.
